LaLaina Knowles is a contemporary writer who has made her mark in the industry as one of the hottest voices in African American literature. She has written and published several books such as A Wife of Abraham, Twisted Karma, and Chocolat Historie D’Amour (contributing author). When LaLaina is not working on her next literary project, she manages her life coaching consulting firm where she is also employed as a Certified Life Strategies Coach Practitioner; she also spends quality time with her daughters, volunteers with at-risk youth, and advocate for the rights of foster children across the United States. In addition, LaLaina serves as an advocate for Reading Is Fundamental, is Co-Founder and Vice President of Moving on up Ministries based in Plant City, FL., is an active member of the Girls Scouts of America and volunteers at the Department of Juvenile Justice. LaLaina attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia where she majored in Early Childhood Education and is currently working towards her goal of obtaining her Doctorate of Psychology emphasizing in Clinical Psychology. Her life’s philosophy entails focusing on inspiring every person she comes in contact with and possessing and maintaining a spirit of humbleness and gratitude; she works diligently daily to make a difference in the world and the lives of others.
